PE and Sport Premium

Schools receive PE and Sport Premium funding for pupils in years 1 to 6 to make additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport that is offered.

Gold Service Level Agreement with Newcastle PE & School Sport Service (£2,750) Enhanced provision to support the development of Physical Education across the whole school using PE as an additional resource and interventions to support whole school improvement
PE Action Planning (£350) Support for PE subject leader to plan and review the impact of PE
Professional Development (CPD budget) Staff identified to attend specific training based on the action plan
Appointment of full-time PE & Sports Mentor - before and after school clubs and holiday provision (£8,000) Target different groups of children to attend clubs outside the curriculum e.g late attenders, those not already engaged in a  sport, more opportunities for our younger pupils, also opportunities to link with clubs for those that show a keen interest in a sport.
